Ann Arbor Epoxy Pros (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates annarborepoxypros.com (the “Site”) to connect homeowners and businesses in Ann Arbor, Michigan and the surrounding Washtenaw County area with epoxy flooring and garage floor coating service. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Site or request a quote, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information We Collect
We collect information in two ways: information you provide to us directly, and information collected automatically when you browse the Site.
Information you provide. When you submit our contact form to request a quote, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if provided), and the message you send us. If you call or text the phone number listed on the Site, we receive your phone number and the content of that call or message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we automatically collect certain technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at the Site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies, described below.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your quote request and communicate with you about scheduling, pricing, and service
- Call or text you back at the number you provide or that we receive from your call
- Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it
- Maintain the security and proper functioning of the Site
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing purposes without your consent.
Cookies & Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site (for example, which pages are viewed and how visitors find us). Google Analytics uses cookies, which are small text files stored on your device. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and a cookie consent banner on the Site lets you manage non-essential cookies such as analytics. You can learn more about how Google uses data from sites that use its services at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Third-Party Services
We work with a small number of trusted service providers to operate the Site and respond to your inquiries, including:
- Google (Analytics and Search Console) — website usage statistics
- Twilio — our business phone number and call forwarding
- Hostinger — website hosting
- Our contact form provider — processes and delivers quote requests to us
These providers only access the information needed to perform their service and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.
Phone Calls & Text Messages
If you call or text the phone number listed on the Site, your number and message content are received through our business phone service so that we can respond to your request. We do not use your phone number for unsolicited marketing.
Data Retention
We keep quote requests and related communications for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, provide service, and maintain business records, after which we delete or anonymize the information.
Your Rights & Choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by calling (734) 251-4114 or submitting a request through our Contact page. You can also decline non-essential cookies through the cookie banner, or adjust your browser settings to block cookies entirely.
Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for adults seeking epoxy flooring service and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices. The “Effective date” at the top of this page will be updated whenever we make changes.
